Are you trying to find another fan for it?
Or are you just asking for help for replacing the fan?

If you're trying to find a fan
Kirby makes new polymer fans that fit inside old machines like this one. If you want an original aluminum fan, there might be a collector who has one.

I mean either option is a go for me. When i talked to kirby and the few shops i called. They said there was no specific part for that machine and they couldnt go back that far in there system.

Kirby 2c fan

That fan is unique to the C series, not other newer fans are even close. If it is a 8 blade fan with a large chip out of one blade, sometimes you can brake off the same amount of an opposing blade with a pair of wire cutters. This will get it close to being back in balance.

Ill have to try that. Theres a big chunk of the back plating missing on the fan tho

The 2C uses the same fan as the C, it's a 6 blade fan (part number S1187). It is smaller that the 500 series so the newer fans will not work.

Whats the likelyhood of me finding that fan?

Not great, but stranger things have happened.
