I just purchased this machine as it was on promotion for £89.99 at Argos and to replace my broken Hoover Pure Power U3125 I had since 2001. The other two machines are Dyson Hand held and a cylinder. Whats your thoughts on VaX. Which on gave it 63 Per cent but better than other cheaper versions of Dysons. Many machines I saw were awful and just toys designed to be thrown out. What is the Vax 6 year warranty like. I did almost purchase a Hoover Velocity but cost £129.99 and obnly came with a 12 year warranty ironically it looks similar but smarter appearance The Model is HOOVER Velocity VL81VL01

I like the Vax Air range. Vax's entry level machines are dreadful but the Air range are pretty good, especially now they've redesigned the brushroll. Good value for money too.

I like the Vax air range too, given the cleaning performance, filtration and guarantee, they are pretty much a no-brainer for a bagless cleaner in that price range.

well I noticed looking at older models they had issues which the suction being so powerful you could not do rugs, I am keeping my vax as it cost me little and I have now got the Hoover Pure Power back in order so I have a good choice of machines to use.
