I just bought an Heritage84 off Ebay. I wasn't expensive and it reminded me of the exact vacuum my grandma had in the 80's. However the question I had is if it is possible to upgrade the vac from style 2 to style F.

Having the HEPA option would be great for my asthma.

Yes I believe you can! You just need the F-style end for the fill tube. While you're at it, I'd replace the entire fill tube assembly, just to start off fresh. Any pics of your unit?
