Those came out amazing! I really like the polished ones. They remind me of the Guardsman I grew up with. Nicholas |

Hello Michael,
Great buffed out 28. I buffed out a metal Eureka for the fun of it at the shop in the 70's and it looked impressive like your 28. I just bought a late Hoover 305 which I do not understand why no height adjustment and I know I never worked on one at the shop. I sort of only remember working on 27s and 28s. I am missing the bottom plate but it did not cost that much and could not pass it up. Have fun and you sure have some good looking machines. Thank you, Pete |

Hello Michael,
I figured it out that the 305 was the economy priced Hoover. The ad said it automatically would go from high to low carpet pile, that might be a stretch. The castings on yours and model badge are different the the one I just got. Anyway you have some good looking Hoovers. Thank you, Pete |
