A couple of months back, one showed up on CL in Austin. Came with the User's manual. I Snatched it up quickly.

Today, found and bought an Oreck version of this design. I had only ever seen a Sears Craftsman version...which I passed on because it was missing the important front panel.

Came with instructions and the original box. Picture on the outside showed it with attachments and a special piece that snaps on under the brushroll.

I will have to repair the loop that the screw goes through to hold the front panel on. I already have some ideas for that.

I will try to post pictures in case anyone is interested.

Garry,

There was also a version by Douglas (Readi-Vac) and, in addition to the Craftsman version, Sears also sold a Kenmore version called the Kleen 'n Vac.

Cool,....I should have done an archive search...

before posting this. Found several references to the various sister machines. I will check archives first next time.
