It depends on the brush roll currently installed in it. If your machine has the standard, silver-painted, sleeve-bearing equipped brush roll (note plastic sleeves on both ends of the brush roll) then order belt no. 159056. Otherwise, if it has the removable end caps, then order belt no. 301291. ~Ben |

Whenever I acquire a older Kirby such as the Omega, I always replace the older silver sleeve bearing brushroll with the newer unpainted brushroll which has ball bearings.
Since you don't know where that old brushroll has been or how worn down the bristles are, as a rule of thumb, when you get an older Kirby, and you plan to keep it, always replace the belt and brushroll at the same time. Then you can use the new style knurled belt #301291 which lasts much longer than the old smooth belts.
