Hey everyone, got another new backpack and thought I would post a brief review. Many backpacks are very similar so I will not go over the similarities, I have posted more detail about backpacks in my previous backpack reviews. This is my sixth backpack, it's the Sanitaire SC535A, and it's a good one. This one does not have any bad design characteristics such as the hose being permanently attached to the lid or the 50 foot cord being hard wired to the unit. It takes the typical backpack 1.5 inch hose and includes two S wands that connect together, it also includes the typical backpack attachments.
Where this vacuum really shines is in sound level and power. It's around 62 DB, but is very powerful, it spins my rug rat turbine brush almost as fast as my Central vacuum units. It also has a really good harness, and it came with a round paper bag, I replaced that with one of Perfect's round 10 quart hepa bags. Like most backpacks, it does not have a hook up for a power nozzle, but I ordered a kit that is supposed to allow any backpack to use a power nozzle, I will post more about that once I get it. Also, the new cordless power nozzle that Tacony is coming out with would work great on a backpack vacuum. Out of my six backpacks, I think this one may be my favorite.

We know how you like the back packs.  But no pictures?

Get up to speed, Mike is visually impaired.  Thus framing a picture and posting are most difficult for him.

posting pictures

Yep, I could try to post pictures, but who knows how they would turn out, and I don't think the site will let you post sound files, or I would post those.

Thanks for posting the link, the video is very interesting.  Now I want one too.  Pricing isn't bad either.

pricing

Got mine for around $300, and it's worth it, a very quiet and powerful backpack for sure, and you can purchase cloth bags for it rather than using the paper bag provided.
