Remember these? My aunt had one a few years ago and it started not working a few months after. Ive seen reviews and most were really bad. What about you guys. Ever had any trouble with these? Any of you guys have an idea on how they couldve changed the flawed filter that kept clogging up on most?

Actually, the green and white bagged version did quite well in Consumer Reports testing when they were on the market (early 2000's I think). Excellent deep carpet cleaning if I remember correctly. I think this has the preferred two motor system that can electrically shut off the brushroll for cleaning bare floors and above-the-floor.

No, these are single motor machines, they have use the same V belt and tensioner as a power drive WindTunnel, same brush roll too. The weakest point in these are the screw posts that hold the bottom plate on, they break off SO easily! The filter rotating thing on the bagless models were a disaster too. Its a great machine for a collection, as they will be rare very soon, and in the hands of a collector they will last well enough. but in my opinion they don;t clean any better than a standard or power drive WindTunnel, and they are much more fragile and significantly harder to work on. I worked on one here at work and promptly told my boss that was the first and last one of those I'll be taking apart. It was not fun replacing the motor that rotates the filter.
