How unusual to see a Hoover Junior badged as a Robot upright commercial vacuum - it is roughly the same as the U.S Hoover Lark, known as Junior in Europe and UK.

I have the brochure for these somewhere. They're not actually anything to do with Hoover. In 1988, the Robot company bought the patents and designs for the discontinued Hoover Junior and started producting it under their own name.

The design is virtually identical, but the quality was no where near that of the old Juniors.

They only lastaed a year or so before being discontinued. Very little is known about the actual Robot company unfortunately.

There were 2 models available one in blue as above and another in lemon yellow.

NIB vacs

Nice vacs and examples of upright, canister & broom type that can be useful in any home. The Douglas Vac Pac would be about 1980 and took the small round canister that was also made for Sears and later Oreck and put it in a rectangular case with tool and hose storage at sides.JCPenney also had Vac Pac.
Others will know more on Robot.
