i have here my favorite kirbys i use weekly to do my vacuuming. since i have a cat i like to keep my place clean & what better way than with a sweet kirby.

Nothing wrong with a factory rebuild! Sure it's not original as it was new. But all genuine parts my 512 has It was rebuilt in the 60s and again in 87. Still have all the original paper work from each rebuild and purchase receipt from 1952. | ||

Frank vs. Bo
I've been thinking about the distinction between a FrankenKirby (or other brand) and a bojack machine and to my mind it comes down to the use of OEM vs. third party generic components. If you're redoing a machine with genuine OEM parts (i.e., original brand parts for or from other models from the same manufacturer) it's a FrankenKirby or Frankenwhatever. If it has generic, third party, generally inferior quality parts, then it's bojack.
