After about 3 months of waiting, my Turbolite ll finally arrived, which is kind of a cross between the UK Turbolite and the American Elite ll.

Here it is all restored anyway. 😊

The lettering remained unscathed after washing the bag €

Notice the Turbolite lettering is the same as the UK Turbolite.

Rating sticker.

Not sure if it can be dated from that? I only know how to date the UK and US Hoover rating stickers.

Comparing the UK Turbolite to the US Elite ll to the AUS Turbolite ll

Funny, it is like UK + US = Austalia 😜😂🙈

Unlike the Elite ll...

Since the Aussie Turbolite ll is a 240v motor, I just took off the Australian plug and fitted a UK plug, so now I can just plug it in as normal. 😊

Hi Alex

Just some info on this one for you!

Was sold exclusively through Godfreys (the now owners of the Hoover name for vacuums in australia) for $499 in the mid 90's. I remember my parents buying this vacuum as my mom was taking chunks out of the walls of our new home while pulling around our Electrolux D725 vacuum. Dad said it had to go!

My mom actually won a small amount in lotto and I demanded we go collect this from lay by immediately which we did.

It was sold above the Hoover Breeze which was aussie made $299 and well below the Electrolux Made, Wertheim W4030 which had a power nozzle and was $899.

Thanks for the info, appreciated.

Now, was this above The UK design or the US design branded Breeze?
