Would a Classic III bag look good on a Classic 1-CR or should I buy a new Classic 1-CR bag?

Well, a Classic 3 bag is red plaid color, and the newer 1CR bags are golden brown,,,id say the 1CR golden brown bag looks better, on a 1CR or Omega, but just my opinion.
I think the Heritage 2 silver bags look sharp on a Classic 1CR and Omega. Better than a Red Plaid bag does anyway.
I guess just because the red plaid bag really only looks right on a Kirby Classic 3, because its all red.

I see that Kirby also has an all brown or tan bag, with the Kirby Logo in ovals all over it,,,,that looks sharp on a Classic or Omega also.

Id stay away from that one,,that type of bag is considered a "Bojack", and just fastens to the blower end of the Kirby, without the Sani emptor,,very cheap looking, but if you like it, hey, thats all that matters, its your Kirby!

It would probably fit, but why would you buy a bojack bag, a used one at that?

my reasoning behind wanting this one is that getting a complete mini-emptor and a new bag is going to set me back 100 dollars which is a bit much for me, can anyone help me out? what about the tradition tube? from what i understand it hooks onto the sani emptor?

I have such a bag in my collection of Kirby items-got it from the Vac hospital in a "grab-bag" box of items that he had in the shop and passed onto me.The bag is DVC-and uses F&G paper bags-it will work but not as well as the orig Kirby bag-Get the Kirby bag if you can.the cloth fill tube in the DVC "bojack" bag cuts down airflow and can clog.I think it would be best to pay the price for the orig Kirby equipment.your kirby will thank you.check around the "junkpiles" of vac places near you-you may be able to find what you need for less! And it may be in better shape than you think. And they can help you look-another pair of eyes on the problem.

you could use a tradition tube or a heritage tube, i think a heritage bag would look sharp on a classic, i have a couple classics they both have the original bags, i love the gold!, but if you want to use paper bags i can understand. i admit i dont use the shake out bag models as much since i have had g-series kirbys.

could i epoxy the tradition tube on the classic 1 crs sani emptor and use a heritage bag on it?

why do they even have emp...
Royal leaves out that middle piece & the bag goes dirct?

Post# 35903 , Reply# 12   3/26/2008 at 19:09 (5,868 days old) by vacuumkid3 ()

The "Sani-Emtor" is for emptying out larger debris on the paper bagged versions and to empty out the cloth bag on the older ones. They are quite an effective design! I assume Kirby patented the "Sani-Emtor" and that would be why Royals don't have them.

If it were my vacuum, I'd go with the original one. When you thoroughly vacuum the bag inside and out, they are often just as effective as a new bag unless of course it has some worn spots or holes/rips. I would always prefer originality over "effectiveness," as I consider the cloth bag Kirbys to be effective enough for my use. Plus, I have a Kirby Heritage using paper bags to use if I want to vacuum using a Kirby while filling a paper bag instead of a cloth one. Just my $.02!

I really have problems with dust, it makes me cough and sneeze, I really want both the sani emptor and the bag so the dust and dirt goes in the bag and the big stuff goes in the sani emptor equaling a more effective and sanitary machine. So my question is could I Epoxy a fill tube on the end of the sani emptor that goes into the bag?

Chris, you might be able to find a Heritage Sani-Emtor at a vacuum shop. That would be your best bet. No epoxy needed, and you could always take it off if you want to put it back to its original form. Plus, you can still get good Kirby bags for the Heritage. Good luck!

true but I priced a tradition fill tube with the top part with a heritage I bag on ebay for 35 dollars

Guess it would be easier to change the bag than the emptor...
then machin is still original & you store the old bag.

you shouldnt have to use any epoxy on the tradition fill tube, i just took one of the other day. i think you should shop around for a heritage fill tube because you could use the part where the paper bag attaches on from a heritage II and use any paper bag from heritage II to the sentria.

Post# 36028 , Reply# 18   3/27/2008 at 13:55 (5,867 days old) by camelotshadow (Valley Village)

so maybe just the fill tube will do. I'd have to see the neck on the emp that the old bag attaches too but if inside there is a smaller neck the same size of the neck of the fill tube then you could just get the fill tube & clamp it on with one of those big clamps that are expandable & close w a screw..

Might just work

would also need top part of tube that connects to bag...
