Hey guys just wanted to let you know about my new Kirby G4. It runs very nice. Oh and the photos are the before and after pics after I dust it. Today I'm polishing it after school.

Charles you don't want my good jujus as they turned bad, the G4 needs new wheels a new fill tube and a new handle backing. I have a heritage II fill tube laying around so I want to switch the full tube so I need help with taking the full tube off a heritage and G4 emp tor and I need help removing the bag collars at the top of the full tube. A video or something of the sorts would be greatly appreciated

That was to be expected at such a cheap price. Obviously it was going to be a fixer upper. All those parts should be readily available.
If you need to replace the fill tube, I'd also launder the permanent bag and wash out the Emptor and disposable bag adapter. That way, you won't blow around someone else's detritus. If the back wheels are toast, that will be a bit of a challenge as you need to take apart the Tech Drive. Not impossible, just not the easiest repair to make. Front wheels shouldn't be too hard. The handle backing is super easy. All in all, you got your dream machine at the price you wanted. Not too shabby. The back wheels should be the only major challenge. |

CORRECTION: You do not need to remove and disassemble the Tech Drive to replace the rear wheels!
Just pry off the hub caps with a small flat blade screwdriver, then use spring clip pliers to remove the spring clip that holds the wheel onto the axle. If you don't have spring clip pliers you can use a very small flat screw driver if you are careful not to bend the spring clips. This method can be tricky. The hub caps will just snap back on.
