Hesco online diagrams

Not quite so legible, but the vactronics wire essentially the same as all 1700 series power teams, except for the electronic speed slider switch and full bag light. The speed selector wires to the motor, not the on off switch. The full bag indicator only needs power when motor runs.

the two white wires from the speed control

and the one lone red wire and the switch wire where do they belong?

My guess would be that 1 white from the speed selector would hook to the switch with a main motor wire and the other white speed switch would hook to the cord reel with a motor wire, and a switch wire. Power nozzle hose wires I believe pair with both main motor wires as you only want the power nozzle to receive power with the suction unit having power.

I have 2 1700 machines but neither is a Quiet Kleen with electronic speed. Someone on here has one and would know for sure!!

Have patience

and wait for someone to reply. Generally, a white wire is hot. Yes, they usually go together, but do not guess for you may fry the electronics.
Black wires are neuteral, on the unswitched side of the unit schematics, until power is sent through them via a switch.
Seeing as someone has detached the wiring, it has been played with, and needs to be re connected properly.
