Hey Guys!

I have my Grandmothers Simplicity 7350 but I have been having issues with it. It can handle short pile carpets, but even with a brand new belt, it chokes on longer pile carpets to the point the Brushroll stops turning and the belt gets hot.

I don't want to immediately buy a new Brushroll to find out I would have the same problem. Do these machines just not preform on thicker carpets or do I need to consider replacing some parts?

Thanks in advance!

The rubber pad on the clutch in the brush roller needs to be replaced. That cleaner is 20 years old now, and the rubber pad is very inexpensive. The 7350 will work beautifully on thick or thin carpets.
