Hey guys I got a W/T twin chamber on Friday for the store I did not expect to have anything good, Salvation Army. They also had a Pre TTI Metal Royal Commercial that was $25, that's $25 more than I wanted to pay, they also had a early style Dirt Devil power stick that I considered for 3.50. But I ended up with a most wanted vac for 13.25 with tax. All it needed was a new belt and now it works amazing

The metal Royal would be better than the twin chamber WT.Seen MANY clogged filters on the Twin Chamber WT vacuums at the vac shops here-five minutes of vacuuming with these and the second chamber filter is clogged! The bagged WT machines are MUCH better.

I actually like the Twin Chamber, maybe it's cause it just kinda looks cool and it's a Hoover??

Now that said, would I use one regularly to clean my house? == NO!!

Bagged is definitely better in the long run. But the surface area on the twin chamber filters if fairly large, what I noticed tending to clog first was the screen before the filter. Hair and dust can easily clog off that screen. The filter is definitely messy to clean but it is vacuumable with another vacuum and washable too!

You could get the TwinChamber for a fun machine and have a bagged Windtunnel or bagged Widepath like mine for regular cleaning. Notice my Widepath has the same floor head as the original Hoover Bagless Twin Chamber before the Windtunnel got it!

This past Christmas I got my hands on a blue version of that Hoover Widepath. They clean the carpet very thoroughly.

The Hoover Widepath U5258, that thing agitates the carpet very well. Those are one of my favorite hoovers. I never usually see pictures of the translucent green version. Only online on Amazon or images on the hoover website.
