I just received this set in my dream color which I think will work with the Power Tank as well.

Please look at the attached picture and tell me how the wands go together or if this set is incomplete.

the set is incomplete. the straight wand belongs to a power nozzle set. the upper curved Royal wand is missing.

Gregor, what does the curved wand pictured, go to/with?

Also, the hose material reminds me of swimming pool filter/pump hose. So this is pretty much extra attachments for my Power Tank 401.

The curved wand is for the floor brush. There is one almost identical with the rubber piece at the straight end to couple with the lower wand. The entire set is for use with any Royal upright. the tools will work will work with the power tanks only if you have the same stub end on your hose as the one pictured. If you have a newer power tank with the pistol grip the wands will not work. It can be confusing, can't it!

The converter is for the metal uprights, therefore so would the hose. I am still trying to locate a set - like this one - for my beloved 1985 Royal 880.

Glad I took all the packing out of the box these were in. At the bottom was the crevice tool, no surprise. Then a generic Royal/Dirt Devil product line up brochure and there it was!!!!!!!!!!

An original Royal 880 User's Manual....to go with my newly acquired 880!!!

My second thought was, I wish I could scan to file so I can share, but my HP printer won't do it from some reason. It is supposed to, but does not work.

I might have it scanned to file at a commercial place.

Pictures later.
