At work we use Windsor Versamatic Plus vacuums, until recently we've had Windsor branded bags and haven't had a problem with them. Recently we've been getting these...other bags they say Sebo on them but their plastic collar is different and tend to leak around it, so i stopped at a local Sebo dealer who gave me a loose Sebo bag which had the same collar as the Windsor badged ones, and told me that it's possible that another company is making these....weird bags and badging them with Sebo's name to make them seem genuine. I've placed it side by side with the Genuine sebo bag, there's a difference in the collar as well as the writing on the bag the outer paper material seems just a little different as well. Can anyone confirm whether or not these bags are genuine or not?

Well no, it's pretty obvious if those bags are leaking and have different collars, they are not the real McCoy. Fake, knock of items are everywhere, from fake exploding iPhone chargers to as it appears vacuum bags. There is a difference between aftermarket bags which don't claim to be genuine and these. Sebo bags have always been excellent and the new type that are fitted the felix at ,east are more akin to Meier bags. They are cloth, incredible tough, very efficient and well made.

Okay, i was thinking they weren't genuine but wasn't 100% sure. It having the same part number, the brand name, and Sebo's contact numbers on them really threw me off, but they just didn't seem like they'd be up to Sebo's standards i can't imagine them producing and selling bags that are prone to issue, aside from the white paper ultra bags. Thanks for the confirmation Olive. I'll talk to my boss about these counterfeits now that I know they're not genuine.

What are you on about Delan? The Chinese make terrible knock offs of most things. Phone chargers and hover boards which explode, tainted fake cow and gate baby milk which kills baby's, fake arm and hamour toothpaste which can leave you sick and fake hotwheels with lead paint.
Producing in China now causes so many problems, many US and European companies are moving out of China. |

I brought one of those weird bags to the local Sebo dealer so he could get a better look at it, he says they are most likely old stock since they have their logo as well as contact info on them. It doesn't matter too much as my boss said our suppliers are out of these odd ones and we are now getting the better bags again.
