Actually, I don't really like it. The cord exits the vacuum at the bottom - it's far better to have it exit at the top of the handle. Also, it looks rather bulky - would be difficult to have it lie flat to get under furniture.

Something tells me this is a concept design from many decades ago - not today.

It comes from a guy called Sachin Mistry who is an industrial designer and its only an exercise and not licensed actually by the Hoover corporation. Im sure there are a few good ideas here, though.

Well it is only a design, not a real vacuum.

I think that the idea of a retro inspired design is fantastic. There are many other retro products, so there may well be a market for it.

Robin.

I like i like

I like the retro design idea. Its beautifull. Ive came across the design idea on accident looking for hoovers. I think its a good idea and it will reach deeper under furniture because theres no need for the motor in he hood.

The Hoover "Q" from 1998 and Ideo.com design work...

Which bears a passing resemblance to TTI Vax Revolve....

I doubt the Hoover Senior (new design) will reach under low furniture given the big bin at the rear but it could be slimmed down.

The floor nozzle on the Hoover "Q" looks like a birds foot-Could see where this would be good.Gets into corners and such well.Interesting vacuum.

It's no Convertible or 60 Series, but it certainly looks better than anything Hoover produces today. I'd love to see this actually go into production.

Its like someone stuck a dustbuster on a deranged Hoover convertible base. This would be a must have for sure!

Here's an Electrolux branded upright polisher I found yesterday - i.e the photo of. The ZP1.41

When you think how far we've come with uprights, if this had a beater bar I think some people may well be interested in buying it.
