Well if I had to guess, I'd say it's the holy grail of vintage vacuums. Something along the lines of the Hoover model O, and Air-Way Dirtmaster or a Lux model V?

Well I love mysteries, but hate guessing games, so I will wait til Friday and look again.  It will be like skipping to the back of a novel to find out who dun it.

Well, Let's see. You already posted about going to Mr. Fix It and that you bought a Hoover Model 62.

Could it be a Grasshopper (Ezee)?
Could it be an 1914 AB Lux, Lux Model I (the round can with the hose coming out the top)?
Could it be the vacuum cleaner from the Space Station?

Andy, David has a point here. John Gregory was banned from the forum for good reason, & a lot of members dislike him. Might be best to stop mentioning him now, or else you might hear some groaning about him from other Vacuumlanders.
