Thanks Edgar for your comment. I should have mentioned that that Kirby is from the early 1950's. I will post again after Easter with the additional information on the handle and emptor/bag. Look forward to dating the model. Edward |

As long as the seller accepts PayPal you should be able to use PayPal credit.
PayPal will first try to check your normal account, if funds aren't enough it will default to the credit. Granted your credit account needs to be established with them and up to date with payments, etc. Any time you purchase with PayPal, the system will ask you to login and verify password to ensure authenticity. You may want to log in to your Paypal account. Check the normal account side and also the credit side. Check your balances and credit available. See if there are any messages on the account from PayPal. For further help, contact contact their customers support. They have good hours and are very helpful! I have little Kirby knowledge so my advice is only limited to that of the eBay and Paypal aspect! |

Edward,
The 508 was the last machine to use a black Emtor bottom. The 513 was the first Kirby to use red trim for the headlight and nozzle bumpers, but early units still had a gray handle grip and non-swiveling top cord hook. These same units also had the older 3 amp motor. Most examples had the red handle grip and a swiveling top cord hook, plus the newer 4 amp motor as models 514-Sanitronic VII. Regardless of variation, all 513s should have the step-type foot switch rather than the toggle switch as models 512 and back. ~Ben |
