new shop vac

Sounds interesting, would love to hear about the new shop vac. I remember hearing that Lowes had some new ones with quieter two stage motors, have not seen them though. The models I have from the shop vac brand are good, but quite loud, in particular the 6 gallon model is actually annoying, you almost need to wear ear plugs

I have this vacuum-its very good compared to their other machines. The 14 gal square drum is very nice-and you can see the dirt or liquid level in it.to keep mine nice-for using it as a dry vacuum I use the yellow drywall bags.Aset of two came with it.I am going to buy more Filtrete Shop Vac bags when the Lowes here gets more of them in.And they fit in my NSS M1 with alittle mod to the bag inlet hole-then it will fit the bag horn on the NSS.gto use the paper bag on the SVX2 you have to take the hose connector off the tank-then put the bag on the bag horn and reassemble the hose connector to the tank. Not to bad to do.Of course if you do wet pickup you wsill need to take out the bag adn the pleated motor filter.A foam filter comes with the machine to use for wet pickup.Like the tool, cord and hose storage on the machine.
