Hi, I am restoring this machine - the outside is gouge-free, shines beautiful, the motor was entirely removed and cleaned, installed new carbon brushes, installed new tan cord, and oiled the front and rear bearing. But I have a couple things I need help with so I can wrap-up this restoration.

1. can anyone show me the graphic design this vacuum should have on the cloth bag along and can anyone tell me the color the bag originally would have been?
2. if anyone has a cloth bag for-sale let me know :) otherwise I will make one for it.
3. can anyone tell me the mfg. date or "circa" when the machine was made? As I have no clue how old the machine is.

Thanks in advance of your reply.
P.S., the machine runs well too :)

Michael, I wish I could help you out with a cloth bag, but just wanted you to know that you sure have done an awesome restoration so far.

Bag has been added.

Well the bag has been added. All I need to do now is add a black electrical cord or a cloth braided black electrical cord.

Beautiful Restoration Mike!

And the bag looks prefect! Glad you were able to find one! And yes, you want the black cord, preferably smooth, not ribbed, and definitely NOT cloth--this machine was made in the early 50's, too new for a cloth cord.
Sorry I didn't get to reply to your most recent email, this is the first time I've been on the computer in a while.
