Were these attachments used on anything other than the Kenmore central vacs? They attach with the standard button lock. Of note is each piece is marked with its intended use.

I have almost the complete set for the Kenmore central vac including the plastic hose and steel wands.

The hose end that goes into the wall is smaller than a modern central vac.

Just not sure what to do with it all. The attachments can be used on other vacs of course.

They look similar to the ones with this vintage Sears Kenmore vintage canister.

In need of sears tools

I have been looking for a set of those for my early 60's kenmore two speed canister!!!! Are they for sale? 40 years ago, we had the same vac and the floor tool was metal with the hash marks on both ends. Love the design! Am having to use the generic gray modern ones now...

drop me a note. I know how hard it is sometimes to find the correct vintage attachments.

The wands are nice button lock style, no friction fit.

The hose in in great condition. Each end uses removable pigtail wires to connect to the system.

Thanks for the responses. I have a buyer for the tools. (Had I known, I would have put it in the super market).

I was more curious than anything. I guess I lucked out finding them.

Usually when the central vacs get updated, they get new hoses and attachments.

The Kenmore central vacs use a non-standard piping that is smaller than modern systems. To plug a modern hose in, you need an adapter or change the inlet. This is explained in Owen's blog on justcentral vacs.

The tools however are standard. I am keeping the wands for now, don't know what to do with the old hose. (It is electrified)

Sears Central Vacuum

All attachments and PowerMates would be same as other Kenmore vacs at the time. They had a great storage system with the small tool caddy being the same as the front top of the deluxe canister. In pic 4 above the 4 tools go in caddy that hangs under hose rack, hose on the rack and upper wand hanging on front clip with lower wand & rug nozzle attached.
