Attention VCCC members, check your mail box, the VCCC newsletter will be in your mailbox soon. We are sending it out by USPS mail this time. In it you will find all the details about the annual convention being held in Chicago. Please take the time to read it through and send in your convention registration form. Also, be sure to book your hotel room as soon as you can. Looking forward to seeing everyone in Chicago in June!

Chad

I'll be registering very soon. I URGE everyone to"go over to the actual VCCC site"and get ready for the convention.  I know Chad had papers to sign, etc.  The person he dealt with is no longer working at the hotel, and, he had to deal with a sharper individual,  the head of sales.

Also,  We are working on completing a new, updated "roster".  Before,  when The VCCC and Vacuumland were 'one',  things were easier.  Some people are reluctant to give their info.  IF you DON'T want your info on a roster,  simply indicate that. It will NOT be printed.  But,  obviously,  we, the board MUST have it.  As far as privacy,  all of it can easily be found already. on Facebook, Google, etc.

 Thanks.

Ah, is there a way to confirm that I'm a member? Or do I need to pay $35. I want to make sure I'm up to date on everything well before Chicago.

VCCC Newsletter

Hi, Clayton I just sent you an email.

A few of our members had trouble printing or opening the electronic newsletter. It’s a good thing that we are going back to mailing out the newsletter. We are collectors and most of us collect literature and our long time members have collected newsletters in the past. Some of our members are not able to attend every convention and the newsletter is their only connection to the club.

The roster is completely voluntary and if you do not wish to have your address printed I won’t include it. Some of our members have privacy concerns.

Please remember to check your personal email accounts, the VCCC website and your mailbox for VCCC information.

I’m looking forward to seeing everyone in Chicago.

Thank you,

Kenneth Loveland

Excellent, Kenny!

True, some people love the email newsletter, some don't. One can always print it, that's true. But, some people have neither a computer, a printer, nor access to such. It is IMPERATIVE that members submit materials, articles, photos, etc in order to have a newsletter at all. I've asked people to write about their convention experiences. Some do, while others forget.
I'm SURE the roster issues will all be cleaned up soon. It is imperative that the board has a true and accurate roster. IF you joined, paid your dues, renew your dues, etc you are a member. The proof is when it is paid for. I know we are very glad to be a part of this group, and to be associated with Vacuumland.
I encourage you to consider joining The VCCC if you have not done so.
John

Kenny.

Would it be possible to have mine emailed to me. I forgot to update the address. I enjoy reading the newsletter when it comes out. It's easier if it goes to my email. If not let me know.

Andy
