Nice FQ"s FQ's are so confusing with the canadian & US model numbers but guess these date late 70's early 80's?
Curious how the old power nozzle compares to the newer ones.

Double barrell vacuuming, Brad.

aeoliandave's profile picture
One to advance boldly into the filthy fray taking on all comers and one trailing to draw in all those dusty bunnies trying to sneak up on ya as you pass. :-) Maybe a polisher hosed to the trailing exhaust to buff up the side lanes...

Say, another video seems appropriate.

Very nice FQ's....
Especially the chrome powerhead.

And i always liked the look of the FQ floor tool.

D31X

Filter Queen Majestic vacuum Model D31X by HEALTH-MOR INC. CHICAGO, ILL.

8.3 AMPS 9.5 AMPS WITH POWER NOZZLE. Serial 9383908

I have been watching this one & the BIN keep going down so finally took the filter queen plunge.

It looks decent.

I really want to try it.

Is it a Majestic or is listing wrong?

I have read the 31X was out in 1983.

So this is probably later
But also read they moved to Ohio.
Not sure when they did move but this would date before that.

I got the chrome PN but I was reading the older PN were quieter.

Any comments on difference?

Anyway officially crazy over here with my new toys coming its like Christmas Spring Cleaning

Some new info

Upon inquiry was told the d31x were made from 1970 to 1990, 92 and then came the Majestic model 99.

Does anyone have an extra electric hose, power nozzle, set of wands, and tools for sale? I have a model 31 that came with an after-market non-electric hose and no PN. Let me know.

power nozzel

I have the brown and the chrome power nozzel.. In my experience I find the brown one to be considerably lighter and more quiet that the chrome one. In my experience, they both clean very well .You can check my vid out on youtube of me demoing the power of the chrome power nozzel. Just go to you tube and enter "filter queen", then "filter queen big dirt test"

I have the 31. These machines will clean anythihg. They never lose suction for me. We own a dyson and it doesnt compare to a filter queen. I have 5 machines now. Im getting another machine and I really like them. The older PN is in my opinion better then the newer chrome one. If you want a great cleaning machine hook up a new power nozzle. They are great PN. I have a timeline of filter queens that health mor sent me.
