So I have had a DC59 for nearly 18 months which I absolutely love. I have used it every day since i got it and my house is that much cleaner for it. The sheer convenience and portability of it coupled with its power is great.

Dyson have some offers on their website for their V6 range. I phoned Dyson, being an owner of 4 of their products in total, wanted to see what i could haggle. Got £50 off and a free tool set. Winning.

So I paid £330 for the top of the range model - V6 absolutely with the new super duper head, a special hard floor tool and the post motor HEPA. I have a friend who has his model so I know how good it is already, just waiting to see what it makes of my plush carpets.

Will be posting pictures and verdict on this thread for anyone interested.

That's my favourite Dyson cordless! Hope you enjoy
I love the scarlet red colour, looks really nice and the motorhead actually beats the carpet!

Thought you would be interested T! Very expensive for what some would say is just a handy vac, but obviously we know they are seen as rep-laments to a mains powered unit, which they are. It is something that is used every day, so you do get your money worth. The price is justified by its performance.

Lol yes :)

That will be my first cordless Dyson brand new :) I agree with you totally, there's over a £200 difference between the DC35 and V6

Dyson could have said "we made a cordless, light and quick to use" and could have still sold that today, but they keep evolving and making improved models which is fantastic
Same goes with the main vacuums like the Dc01, could have still been in production today but they made a MAHOOSIVE difference all the way to the DC41

Dyson have gone from being one of the worst performers to one of the best you can buy today in 2016!

It has arrived!

Came at 12:30pm today by UK MAIL.

Put it simply, thee are replacements to full size vacuums.

No, i wont stop using my Felix, but that is probably going to be a once per week job as this thing is brilliant.

That new cleaner head makes all the difference. Grooms the carpets wonderfully. Those nylon bristles are much more substantial than on the DC59.

I will be posting pictures tomorrow at some point.
