Hi there guys
So as you might know I am obsessed by numatic vacuums (hence my username) and I would really like to talk about them. I currently have 11 in my collection (I have a very small collection) which date form 1988 all the way to 2014. Please share your photos of your numatics!

Henry...

I had a Henry model 200,with the high/low speed switch.It was a very well made and is a excellent canister vac.The hepa fliter bag and upper hepa final filter made it a allergy vacuum.It is quiet and easy to use and picks up exemely well.Wish I still had it.Gave it to a friend[vac member]who was in love with the machine.

Cool collection (particularly the Nuvac). I like that stand you've got them on, is it from Numatic themselves?

Henry;

These are the first ever personified vacuums or appliances I have ever seen.
Unless you count Sears former past "Lady Kenmore" name.

Vacerator, there's a whole "family" of them. Made in England by Numatic.

The story goes that the creative force behind Numatic, which originally started as a commercial company, saw the role of a cleaner as quite a lonely job and added the face to personify the equipment. The company have since branched out into the domestic market.

I can't quite begin to explain how popular they are. It's rare to go into a shop, office, school, bank, hotel or pub/bar and not find a Numatic of some sort.

....And you have a limited edition Lewis, as well. Wow.
What do you think the chances are that you will find a John?

Has Lewis ever been out of the box? That will be considered a valuable collectible in no time.

Yes the Lewis has been out of its box and has been used about 6 times, but I put another. bag inside so it didn't mess up the original one!
