I would love one of the late 50s/ early 60s Kenmores. The Whispertone, Aurora etc. Too bad they're hard to find. Good luck on your quest and welcome to the group. -Tyler |

My Grandma had a mint Hoover 63, not a scratch on it. I was devistated when I found out she traded it in on a Simplicity 7250 I now have along with her Electrolux XXX. |

I already have it. A Premier Vacuum Cleaner Model 21. It is from a club member who ended up doing some traveling and asked if I was still interested. My grandmother had one of these and I ran it everyday when I was there. I do have it as well, but the bag has been patched several times and the wheels broke (bakelite). I salvaged the handle, motor and cord for spares, if I ever need it. The brush roll in the one in the picture is in great shape and makes it a viable cleaner to use.

I don't really find myself yearning for a particular machine, although there are a few I had or that were in my family that I sometimes wish I had back:
• My grandmother's 1977 vintage orange Eureka Princess with matching power nozzle. It was my main machine from about 1996-2003. Its ignoble fate is well documented elsewhere on this site and I won't bore you with the details again. Still, I have an inordinate sense of loss regarding this machine and I don't understand why. • My parents' pink and gray Lewyt canister. We used it until the hose fell apart but the machine itself never quit. I've never seen another one exactly like it and I doubt I ever will. • My grandparents' Electrolux. I think it was an LXI. It was in use in their house for as long as I can remember. It was probably still in the hall closet when I last set foot in there after my grandfather's funeral in 2001. Although long gone now, it's probably why I gravitate toward Electroluxes and have a 1205 and a Super J today. • My Kirby Heritage 1HD. My most recent ex-girlfriend "borrowed" it three years ago, promptly pitched her Oreck in the dumpster and never gave it back. This would probably be the easiest of the lot to replace, but I guess you could say I've already replaced it with either the G5 or the Gsix I picked up last year, or knowing my personality, maybe both. I'm not actively on the hunt for any of these machines; I've got too many vacuum cleaners as it is. But if the opportunity to acquire one in nice shape for a good price were to arise, well then we'd just have to see, wouldn't we? |

Here is the new Radiance R40P that replaced the Radiance RADP. It says it has the Heads Up dirt sensor, but I can't figure out how that is acheived since they took away the two amber LED's. Also, it looks like they changed the HEPA filter on the side of the machine. I'd like to know more about this new Radiance.

A few others that I'd say I'd most like to get ahold of would be a dyson dc01 and a good condition for dc07 that isn't crazy priced for it's condition (my parents had a dc07 for years so it's a little special to me). I think the hoovee decade 80 has quickly been climbing my list towards the top. Honorable mentions go to the dirt devil cruiser. I just like how it looks lol.

Sure, everbody likes Dysons. The style is more in a techy fashion. The price points are the issue. Like any Sharks? Much les costly. |

Vintage Panasonic Jet Flo canister. Similar design but with headlight of the one n this Youtube video below.
Also a blue or red colored Eureka canned ham with this extreme center mounted headlight. The one in this advertisement is gorgeous!! Also it's a want and extreme rush. But am seeking a navy blue colored or dark green color based Hoover Convertible upright with round metal handle and traditional vintage style flick switch. A rubber mounted hand grip will be considered but first choice is the plain round metal handle. My Hoover knowledge isn't there to think of a model right off the bat!! Motor preference is to a 4.3 Amp or 420 Watt. I don't know my Hoover models that well. Preferable to a 1070 styled headlight hood, Convertible 700 styled hood or possibly Ranger. Nothing at the resale store last week but a Sanitaire blue upright for $5. Scratched up hood and probably needed a fan at least, if not a motor. The last ones were cheaply made. It already said by Electrojunx on it. Today, only a lousy Dirt Devil zoom broom. |

My aunt had a new one back in 1964. I discovered it behind her sofa one day when I was four. I said AAwwwhh! where is the hose at? She said, that's a secret. I didn't even know what a power nozzle was then. My mom had a Eureka vibra beat. |

My top wish list still to be found is the ABC Always Beauty Clean power nozzle for the Compact C4 C5 and C6. I have all three vacs, I just need one power nozzle for them to share.
1962 GE C-100 swivel top with power nozzle Original grey Electrolux PN-1 power nozzle for my AF A late 50s grey Kenmore Vanguard canister with the outlet port for its optional power nozzle. I already have the matching power nozzle. And last but not least on the holy grail side of things, I want the very first Filter Queen power team from the 60s with its first whirlpool type power nozzle that was featured for Filter Queen before GE started making all the ones we all know from the 70s through the 90s. |

There are 3 vacuums that I really like the most. One of them I already have, one will soon be mine, but the other one I'm not sure If I could have or not and it's my Grandpa's early 80's Vacumaid P-125 Central Vacuum. If I don't get it when he passes away, that's what I'm going to be looking for. Not only just the unit but the inlets that came with these as well and this particular white hose he uses with this Vacumaid Deluxe powerhead.
For now, I'm still trying to figure out what the model is on our Sharp Twin Energy we used to have at one time. Here's the link if you're interested in viewing. CLICK HERE TO GO TO panasonicvac's LINK |
