HI there can you help me with my hoover ranger

I will get some pics Friday

p.s I need a back rear wheel and I need to find out how to remove the cover/hood

so I can put new bulb in it

To remove the hood you need to turn the vacuum over, and you'll see two screws opposite each other underneath the base, unscrew them and the hood will come off. I've highlighted the screw(s) that you need to remove. Oh and I think the original picture belongs to Beko1987. I hope he doesn't mind me using it :P

Hi.

I would say the vac was made in the late 1970s, say 1974 ish.

I will have a look in my loft to see if I have any wheels.

The serial number on your Ranger dates it to June 1975 4002 being the model number, 5 being the year & 06 being the month.

Our wheels are a little different "over here".

  I have a few Rangers,  not my favorite style,  but, one must have a few.  I'd love to get a British Ranger and  a Dirtsearcher.
