For most vacs these days, and for quite a while now, It seems like it doesn't matter much what shape, brand, age, or dust containment style vac. you have, they're all powered by basically an interchangeable motor. The only physical difference in motors is: upright with shaft for belt, or canister without shaft. As for VCP closing down, that probably doesn't mean much. Investors will use corporate structures to hold patents and product, then sell them off to another corporate structure, create gains and losses that in and of themselves are assets. Meanwhile, the products continue on simply in another corporate structure (under another name). |
