Wow, Im excited! I went to a vacuum shop my friend works at, to pick up an almost new Aerus Vinyl hose for my Electrolux Diplomat, for the sum of $10 (!) when my friend said to look through the Used vacuum pile. My friend gave me an Electrolux 2100, as well as 2 spare hoses for $5, as well as a free Electrolux Upright Tool Kit! Then i saw an Electrolux AF with a vinyl hose and a broken wheel. The owner sold it to me for $50 and said i can pay him later since i only had $20 on me. he is also planning to hire me this summer as a part time Employee. YAY! I could use a wheel for the AF! It had GRAVEL and COINS in ths hose since the bag (1970's Electrolux Style) was STUFFED! I cleaned it out at home and looked at the motor. its the original motor and it looks BRAND NEW! The 2100 seemed loud and is VERY Beat Up. It had a Full, stuffed, Aerus Type C Bag in it that REEKED like old dust. Its just around since it was cheap.
Any Thoughts? Have 2 model F wheels for sale?
Thanks!

I'd say for 50 bucks for that Model F, the guy at the vac shop made out pretty good.

So, looking at the AF you need an axle, wheels, a halo or cord winder.

The axle because the original was peened over to hold the washer against the wheel.
Most of the time you have to grind the end of the axle off to get the remains of the wheel off.

Does the control valve work? If not good news, if it is the original there are two screws that hold the body of the valve together and it comes apart and you can service it.

Hello, Ray, I put my spare cord-halo on today, and i repaired the Automatic control. it works like a charm! i found a spare wheel, im just 'in a pickle' as i dont have a grinder! I also think it needs a new motor bearing, as do my L, and Lx.

The front bearing is a 629, they cost about $2.20. The rear bearing is a bronze sleeve.
