Hi guys. ive got a za55 electrolux, on the ratingplate it says AB Elektrolux, but on the badge on top it says electrolux made in sweden. why is the one spelled with a k and one with c?may it be a mistake at the factory?

Hope you guys have a Happy Festive Season.

Regards
Ruan

According to Wiki:

The name changed to Elektrolux in 1919 when the company merged with Svenska Elektron AB (the spelling was changed to "Electrolux" in 1957)"

While the company itself was still going by the Elektrolux name they branded the vacuums with Electrolux or, on their lower line models, Electrux. The company name on the information plate remained the same in both cases though.

Oh - and the model 55 was made from 1949 - 1955 if memory serves me.
