You wont go wrong with either machines, but I would go for the SEBO, and the E3 premium. It is a better model, has the tapered hose design so should have greater suction, is more compact and better designed than the K3 which is quite an old design now, although there still isn't much wrong with it. Those powerheads fitted to the post 2010 SEBO's are among the best you can get and do a fantastic job of agitating and grooming the carpet.

I would say Miele build quality isnt as durable as SEBO and their bags, and parts in general, are more expensive.

^^ Mate, these Dysons do not hold a candle to the Miele and certainly not the SEBO. In terms of just about everything, the SEBO models are much better.

Well unless I read it wrong, a DC07 was not in the list of possibilities of cleaners availiable to the person who asked the question.

I'd go with the Sebo personally. The Miele has a cable that has to be manually wrapped around the hose and extension tubes for the powernozzle which can be very inconvenient, especially when switching from cleaning carpets to above floor. Whereas the Sebo's have proper electronic hoses so are more convenient.

I'd probably chose the E3 as I prefer the tools that come with it. The K series have that weird system where you have to attach the crevice tool to use the upholstery brush. The E3 doesn't.

Yes and the E3 doesn't have the tug and rewind cable which can be annoying and it doesn't have the hose offset to one side like the K1.
One disadvantage is the exposed connector which is prone to damage and the hose doesn't swivel 360 degrees at the cleaner end so you can into a tangle like an anaconda :-)

The hose on the E series doesn't swivel at the end connector because the newer design prevents hose breakages whilst the castors allow the machine to move more easily than the K3 which ALSO doesn't have a swivel for that very reason.

Both the K3 and E3 have left right movement on the back of the hose by the handle, so again you wouldn't need a swivel on the body by the hose connection. SEBO only included the bigger swivel on the D series because of the much bigger size.

Both the K3 and E3 are good, obviously the E3 is more modern since it has only been on the market for a couple of months. Bags are easier to fit and are slightly larger at 3.5 litres compared to 3 litres on the K3.

Check out Dys0nB0y's post. He bought an E3 Premium not so long ago.
