Over the last 8-10 years I have slowly been putting together a complete Electrolux model Z25. Now, thanks to friends in England and Belgium, its finally complete. So I present the Electrolux Model Z25. Made from 1935-1945 (With a production break during the war of course). The picture shows all the standard parts, including the vaporizer, sprayer and wooden storage chest, as well as the optional 12" wide floor brush and the softer brush head (for delicate fabric) for the crevice tool.

The only piece I have not found is the mop head which fit over the floor brush.

An interesting piece of trivia. This was the first Electrolux to introduce a bag full indicator, which was located in the front (suction) end of the carrying handle.

While this model was produced in Green through most of Europe the ones from France are Red so I may have to track one of those down as well.

That's a beautiful machine. I love the faceted Bakelite rear cover.

I have one (green version), motor unit only although I suspect my Model 12 attachments would fit it. The screw-in hose appears to be the same.

Hey Charles

The threaded end of the hose is actually larger than the model 12. I should have mentioned that this model also introduced the tapered hose which reduced clogging as well. If you need one of the hoses I have a spare (though not original)

Wow, the differences between that and the US model 12 are striking. How ironic that we got the gorgeous model XXX, while Europe would suffer with the 'old' design for a decade longer than us.

Doug, I'd love to have a hose for mine! Or if it would be easier/cheaper to just send the metal ends, that would be fine. I'll email you my address. THANKS!!
