Really ???
You hate generic hoses ??? But you wanted a hose that fit Electrolux with a switch in the handle. Didn't someone tell you that the generics were a piece of garbage ???? Oh yeah, most of us on this site did. Oh well live and learn young grasshopper else you be eaten as chocolate covered crunchy delight. |

I have a "-Lux standard metal canister (electric)" as you call it.
It's from a 1989 Legacy. It's in good condition. The ends are fine and work as should. It does have puckering and one can actively feel and hear the suction leaking through the hose. I've read some people apply some type of flexible clear sealant to these hoses to restore them to original suction. I used the hose this morning with a 75' PN and all worked well, even with reduced suction. It's listed on Ebay. CLICK HERE TO GO TO delaneymeegan's LINK on eBay |

The only Detering Post's were one about how the spring clips stopped working, and another about how they dont fit the sidekick. Andy |
