hmmm... just could not resist this 1978 Model 700 Filter Queen... on craigslist for fifty buks...it was VERRRRY dirty, but with a long, hot bath in murhpy's oil soap, and some TLC... it shined up and I changed the inner filter and washed the foam on the inner dome part. The vac runs like a top, and very powerful. I will be replacing the hose, and then presenting this beautiful vac to my step mom. She will really enjoy it and it will suit her vacuuming needs well.

That's another nice Filter Queen Brad. From the picture the hose looks ok, why are you replacing it?

the hose is actually very stiff and it is ripped just behind the handle, so I will either get another one form ebay or a good used one from one of the local vac shops.

Make sure you have her sign an agreement to return it in future rather than toss it out or give it away LOL

ohhh yesss

I have an agreemnet with Her that the Filter Queen stays in the immediate family...She is all for it.. I will have some great pics of my step mom recieving her F/Q..
