Hi fellow vacuum friends,
I have a curious question about Revelation. When did Interstate discontinue the Revelation? Also did the Rev ever have a PN plug for the ABC or Eureka nozzles?
I know the Compact Standard (pinkish tan color) did have the plug as I have one that is stamped S PB ( standard power brush) in the bottom.
If I am correct I believe the "standard" was a vac shop model like the Revelation was correct? So then why wouldn't they also have the PB option?

Since the Revelation was 1949 to 1954 I doubt it would have had a power nozzle.

If you are going by that compact model sheet that gets posted often, it all wrong.

Seriously?
Look all I was saying is that it is missing a lot of info and some of the info on it is incorrect much like the Kirby and Electrolux sheets. That's why I was hoping someone on here would know.
Maybe you are right, all I'm saying is if you go by that sheet it might not be correct.

My C5 has the ABC outlet as well. It's very clear that Interstate made way more vacuums set up for the ABC (Always Beauty Clean) powerhead than they made powerheads; only a handful of the powerheads are know to exist. I'd love to know the story behind this mystery.

I've seen photos of Revelation C-4s equipped with the ABC port so they must have been made into the very early '60s. I believe that although the Compact was transitioned into the three-wheel C-5 at that time Interstate kept the old C-4 design with rear wheels and front skids for the Revelation since it was a cheaper model.
