When I picked up the Electrolux The Boss it was in full working order, however recently I noticed it would not hold in the upright position securely so decided to investigate further.
Not surprisingly, the below pictures show what I found.
Question is, I don't have the piece that has snapped off so how would I go about fixing it, so that the pedal has something to hold the cleaner upright securely?
It is maybe obvious, but I've never done a DIY repair on my vacuums so am pretty clueless. |

That is going to be tough, it looks like the broken piece locks into that depression to hold the handle up
