I recently acquired a Celebrity II Estate in great condition, but the hose has tape on both ends. I would like to know if anyone has an electric hose I could get without tape on it. I'm willing to pay up to 25$. Thanks

Nice find on the Hoover Celebrity. I can appreciate the fact that whoever did tape it, did it neatly. Looks to be a nice machine. I love power nozzle Hoover Celebrity cleaners myself!!

I have no hoses to give. However I did find this Genuine Hoover one on eBay. It's slightly over your $25 price, as it's priced at $40 but shipping is free so that definitely helps to offset the higher price.

**Don't worry the attachment lock isn't broken in the picture the user just has it turned the wrong way. Although even if the attachment lock was broken, they are still available from various vendors, it would most likely be black in color.

Otherwise perhaps more replies will come to this thread!

In fact, I put the tape on there myself. The old tape was a disaster. But it was necessary because there is a rather large gouge in either side of the hose.

You're quite welcome!

If you want, I have contact information for Chris who owns a vacuum shop in New York. He has tons of parts, so perhaps there is a possibility he may have a hose as well dependion on your interest in the eBay one.

Here are my 2 Celebrity units! I used the blue one tonight and that photo is from tonight! The cinnamon one last got used last week. I took that picture last week when I put away in my bedroom after usage. The Cinnamon colored one is a childhood vacuum for me. I love it! It lives in my bedroom along with my Hoover PowerMax canister and Eureka Rotomatic. Sometimes they're all in the closet but usually one of them sits out ready for action!!

Both of my Celebrity cleaners get a good workout at my house! The blue Celebrity has a long hose and I've used it commercially at a few job sites that I've done cleaning for. The large bag allows it to maintain suction and airflow longer than most any other vacuum I've used in the extra heavy dusty condtions that I've used this machine at!! It thoroughly outperformed Panasonic commercial uprights that lose powerful rapidly at the same establishment cleaning their office carpets when I had that job.

By the way, just so you know the top piece looks way more this color than it actually is. I didn't realize that it was that bad in the picture but in real life it's actually not too bad. I'm uploading a YouTube video is right now and will add a link shortly.
