I just found another outstanding buy at my local Goodwill outlet store- a Tristar MG1 with its hose and power nozzle (no tools). It is in excellent condition except for a dark scar on the top of the PN and on the door covering the exhaust filter. I am very impressed with it's suction and airflow. It is also by far the quietest of all of my vacs, a little quieter than my Filter Queen! Unfortunately in trying to clean it up I made the mistake of working on the exhaust filter cover lightly with a little Mothers and made it look worse! Anybody out there know if exact matching replacements for the filter cover and top of the PN are still available? I am afraid if I try to order one listed through a vac parts company might substitute a newer one that will fit but not match the grey and black speckled finish of th MG1. It is worth restoring to its orginal appearance, and I think I will keep and use it.

Mike
