A Hoover model 305. Saw it sitting on a trash pile, thought it was a 28 and passed by as I already have a nice 28, but then turned around, thinking it could also be a 27 or 305. After I parked the car and crossed the street, as I got closer to it I spotted the embossed hood and realized this was a 305, with a replacement cord and genuine Hoover replacement bag, the often seen tan bag with red printing. Checked it out when I got it home, runs great but handle is crooked, bag needs some work, and it needs general cleanup and spa treatment. This was actually my ONLY trash find. Here's a pic.

Trash Find
My best "trash find" was a Power Drive Hoover in dark blue. I cant remember the model but it was the machine that came out after the Powermax/Hoover Concept thingy. Awesome machine, it only needed a new bottom plate as the original was cracked to pieces. It still had all the attachments to. I sold it to a friend who is still using it today!

Mine would have been a metal Royal I found on a trash pile in the Wash DC area.The machine was in fine shape-ran OK.It just needed a bag,rollerbrush and belt.Sold it to someone that needed a vacuum.That was before I collected vacuums. | ||
