HI, I picked up a little red Hoover Encore, very good condition with all but one tool. This is a straight suction unit.

My question, how do you wrap the cord around the unit when not in use? I am sure there must be a position on the machine to wrap the cord.

I searched for Google Images, but did not see anything where the cord was wrapped around the unit.

Please advise.

G.

"Get the Spirit"--

--I think that was part of the advertising slogan. Not a bad vac when used with micron type bags.I prefer them as plainer straight suction rather than the so call deluxe with more features piled on.About the only cord wrap position is to start at back above the cord, leave hose on and wrap toward the front above the hose end. These were a good companion to a standard Elite upright for carpets,Spirit for everything else.
Happy Hoovering!

Thanks....

I ended up wrapping it around the middle just in front of the on-board tools. My garage is getting crowded.

Thanks again.
