Would the attachments from a Kirby Diamond Ultimate G Series vacuum work with a Kirby Classic III 2CB? Are there any links that would show vacuum attachments that would be compatible with a Classic III? I have the opportunity to purchase a set of attachments but they are for the Diamond Ultimate G and didn't want to waste fuel money on a boondoggle.

Thank you.

Safety switch alignment?

I have never seen a Classic III, however if the safety switch is in similar placement as the Heritage, then no.  The Ultimate G Diamond safety switch is just to the left of the front fan case hole.  I believe in the Classic III, the safety switch is just below and to the right of the fan case hole.  The unit would not work.

Only those tools that go on the hose tube swivel end will work on the Classic III, but not the hose itself.

As KirbyclassicIII stated, only the attachements after the hose would be compatable.

The Safety Speed Selector Switch is in a different location on the G series. that the Classic series.

Thank you for the replies. Not being familiar with the other series I wasn't sure if the hose would work or not. Thanks again, I appreciate your assistance.
