I've been eyeing this vacuum for some time now. I still get sticker shock when I'm pricing Festool tools, but yesterday I sold my ct midi, and upgraded to this. It has to be the quietest, best filtering shop vac made. The bags are literally the size of pillow cases. Any way , something diff from the usual .

One of the contractors out here-building engineer-has one of these vacuums-well beat up--he uses it with his Festool sander and circular saw-Beautiful machines!!!!The Festools are VERY high quality!!!And the top of the vacuum allows you to carry Festool tool cases on the top!!So it doubles as a tool case dolly.

You also have the beginning to a Festool workshop!!!Their saws, sanders, and routers can be used with that vacuum for "dustless" operation.Their dust collection is well designed.Someday for me!!!Will have to wait for the "boat" to come in first!!!Look at the Festool website and eye their famous tools!

I use the smaller version of this for converting it into a domino joint machine and build some wood furniture together. I overall think they are really impressive since these are made in Germany. However, I don't use bags on it anymore because it has to get emptied alot every day being used commercialy.

I own quite a few Festool tools. They really are the best and what they do. Unfortunately, it will be a cold day in hell before I spend $600 on a drill. On the bright side, there is no other tool company, that holds it resale value like Festool.
