Hey, All, If anybody would be interested, I would like to schedule a Mini-Meet within the next couple of months, toward Spring, when the weather is warmer. I have a large inventory of vacuum cleaners and parts that I need to get rid of. I am estimating that 90-95 per cent of my inventory is Electrolux, although I have a few off-brands, like Tri-Star, and Filter Queen. I am estimating that there may be upwards of 200 plus vacuums/machines, plus at least 100 plus powerheads, and hoses. I live at Wayside, TX, but work in Amarillo, TX during the week, so about the only day that would work for me would be on a Sunday. Please contact me at (806) 341-0572, anytime, for more information about the inventory. To my knowledge most of the vacuums are in running condition. There may be a few that do not work. Currently in my inventory I have a really nice Kirby Heritage II, that's hardly been used. I would want about $75.00 for it. Like I say most of my inventory is Lux stuff, so for those of you who like Lux I'm sure this would be of interest to you. As for prices, I'm thinking about between $10-$25.00 each for machines, depending on the condition and year model. Newer machines would be $25.00 each. Powerheads I'd take $5-10.00 each. As for hoses--I'd throw those in at no extra charge. Bear in Mind, I will be sorting through the machines and keeping one of each model for my collection. I have multiple machines of the same model so I don't need multiple machines. Feel free to contact me with any questions and I'll try to keep in touch in regard to when to schedule a mini-meet.

Sincerely,
Nathan L. Thomas
Electrolux-Dude

Nathan:

I'm in need of a Lux PN-1 for parts- do you have one with a dead motor? I need the turquoise version, not the white. If it has a wand and sheath, fine, but it's also okay if it doesn't. I mainly need the plastic top cover, and some brushroll parts.

Let me know...

To Sandy

Hi, Sandy--I've got lots of the PN-1's, in turquoise, with the wands. I'll try to find you a good one. I don't know how much it would cost to ship one, but I'll check. Are you having good luck with your 1205? I've got quite a lot of those as well if you'd like another one.
Nathan

Nathan:

What I am looking for is a PN-1 for parts- I don't need it to work. I need the plastic top cover (turquoise only) and I need the brushroll with the gear wheel. I want to restore the PN-1 I have with these parts.

So, a PN-1 with a bad motor would work out fine for me. If it has a wand and a turquoise sheath, that would be great. Let me know.

Nathan,

I won't be able to make it to Texas for the mini-meet, but if you have extra hoses, parts, or attachments I might be interested.
First, I need a hose and a rear wheel for a turquoise G. I did get an original hose with it but it leaks like a seive. Bought a replacement (generic hose with Lux ends) that worked fine with it--until I got a power nozzle, and found out that the replacement hose is about 1 1/2 feet too long for the hose cord.
Also, I'm looking for a decent hose with the screw-type connection and original floor brush, crevice tool, and dusting brush for my model XII-A.
If you have any of these, let me know what you need for them and we'll take it from there.
Thanks,
Jeff

To Eric, Sandy, hygiene903, filterqueen 83

Eric, it would be a pleasure to meet you if you come, I hope you can make it. Sandy, I'll look through and see if I can find you a good PN-1 Cover. Filterqueen 83--I don't have any Hoovers or parts, I might have some attachments for a Eureka, I'll have to check. To all of the collectors, I'm thinking on having a mini-meet the end of March or First part of April, I'll keep you posted. I need to have some time to sort through my stuff.

Nathan:

I could also use a good Model L cordwinder for the machine you sent me a few months ago. This is a blue Model L- the regular blue, not the rebuild hammertone.

When you sent me the machine, I said I wanted the halo instead of the cordwinder, but I must have gotten older and lazier since the last time I had a machine with a halo, LOL. Rewinding that cord is more of a chore than I remember! :-)

Let me know!

Hi, Sandy

Hi, Sandy--I'll look and see if I have a cordwinder, It seems like I might have, but am not totally sure. I will let you know. I'm still looking for a powerhead cover, I just haven't had much time, as I work 5 days a week, so I only am out at "the Lux ranch" on the weekends. How's that L working by now?
Talk to you later--
Nathan

L is Fine!

Nathan:

The L is just fine, thanks. In fact, I just finished using it for the upstairs.

It's now a matter of putting a few bits and bobs with it to make it a really complete, pretty machine. I have a PN-1 and a PN-2 for it (can't really make up my mind which I like better with it), and I think it really needs the cordwinder. I'm also looking for a new hose, so I don't trash that nice minty one you sent me. I have a complete attachment set in the correct turquoise, and a manual, courtesy of whoever posted the L manual to this site.

So, it's a nice machine, and getting nicer!

Vacuum Cleaner Inventory

Here's an update regarding some of the vacuum cleaner inventory that I'm wanting to sell. I am estimating that there are 200 plus machines, of which 90-95 per cent are Electrolux's. I do have some Compacts, and Filter-Queens, several Electrolux Uprights, a Kirby Heritage II, etc. I do not have any Hoovers or Eurekas. Most of the machines are in running order, although there may be a few that do not work. I will be saving one or two models of the Electrolux's for my collection. Other inventory that I have are attachments, and powerheads, for Electrolux's, which includes a large amount of PN-1's, I also have quite a few of the PN-4's, and a few PN-5's. I also have a lot of Hoses, Electric and Non-Electric, they may or may not be much good. In Attachments, I have a lot of Lux Rug/Floor tools, as well as wands. There are some miscellaneous attachments for other machines, I'm pretty certain there are some attachments for Compacts. I need to clear out some of this inventory as I am running out of room for storage. If anybody might be interested in this inventory, please contact Nathan Thomas by e-mail or telephone: e-mail address is thetrain48@yahoo.com, or telephone (806) 341-0572.
This will give you an Idea on what I have. This inventory is my personal stuff.
