I know they're not the quality of the vintage F&G Eurekas, but I just purchased a brand new 1934b Eureka the Boss bagged upright. Walmart has them on their website for $79.99 and free shipping if anyone else would be interested in one.

I've owned one in the past and I was rather impressed with how well it groomed my carpeting, so I thought I'd get another one while they're this cheap!

A Great Deal on a Great Vac

For one day, Amazon had the same price, with Prime shipping. It's back up to $81 again on Amazon. Wal-Mart is offering a terrific deal for an outstanding vacuum.

Last weekend, I paid $50.10 for a new one in a damaged box from Amazon. Mine arrived as described, in perfect condition and having never been assembled. They also had one for $48.95, but it's description indicated that it had scratches in various places. It sold soon after I bought mine.

I really like these. I have an older 1934A from the 90s, but otherwise the same. It seems to clean very well, it's lightweight and easy to push, and sounds nice. It's not really quiet, but not ear piercingly loud and high pitched like some uprights.

The only thing I don't like is the cord is rather short compared to fancier models, but given all the positives it's fine.

I like to use this to do quick pick-ups, but it cleans deep enough to do full vacuuming as well.
