I'm really liking my twins. I've haven't been much for vacuums from the 40s. Brown is just sort of drab. My mind has changed somewhat I really like these twin 61s. Thanks to a007kirbyman for picking these up for me. These 61s are built like tanks and quiet!

Are a great idea and much bigger than the C bag and I like the fact that they are reusable.

Kenny...

Congrat'on getting your 61's.They are wonderful vac's and they can clean so very well. They were made after the war and was a great new design for Hoover.Your right! They are tanks, well made to last.Enjoy and have fun. Those W bags hold alot of dirt and are reuseable.Rather ahead of there time on that and filter well too.

PINKGE
THE DESIGN OF THE 61 ACTUALLY CAME FROM THE SHORTLIVED PREWAR MODEL 60
THE O N L Y DIFFERENCE WAS THE HANDLE DESIGN
DONT GET ME WRONG I HAVE 4 61S
THEY MADE A GOOD VACUUM EVEN BETTER
