I picked up a box of attachments for a Eureka F&G upright the other day. Nothing too exciting there, but the box had all the original paperwork for the vacuum that they originally came. On the backside of the assembly instructions is an informational strip from "Eureka Man" regarding why you should use genuine bags. Anyways, I haven't seen anything like that and thought I would share this installation of "Eureka Man!"

Comics!

Hey thanks, these corporate comics are always interesting. I never knew that Eureka used them, though.

Wish I could train my vacuum bags to whistle a tune like in photo #9 (I wonder if it's the "Eureka song" it's whistling)!

Eureka had an ad campaign, I think in the 1980's that stated "Lets get down to the nitty gritty" It was about the ESP line of uprights. It showed a rug or carpet and the "critters" that resided in it. If I remember there were three different cartoonish type characters that lived in the carpet. I think one was called "Nitty", one called "Gritty" but I can't remember the third. I use to have some shop aprons that Eureka gave out, and I thought I still had one around somewhere, I will have to look around and see if I can find it.
