So I got bored and decided to completly resto my Hoover Dial A Matic model 1011 that I got from the vac connventio roughly about 2 years ago it works but smelled very musty and the motor I know has not been serviced in years. The base paint or powered coating was pealing off so I stripped it down to bear medal and just put a coat on the underside. Just thought I would share my progress. I am very good at cosmetic restoration just need to learn how to service a motor. For the mean time I have a great vac guy who doesall my servicing and the owners of the shop think my hobbie is cool.
